I am not particularly fussy about toppings or spreads—everyone has their own style. But when I’m faced with a bagel platter, this is my go-to combination. A toasted bagel layered with creamy schmear, savory lox, crisp red onions, juicy tomatoes, capers, and a sprinkle of fresh dill. It’s a simple, satisfying classic that never disappoints.
