Pumpkin Butter Recipe

This Pumpkin Butter is a deliciously spiced spread that’s perfect for fall! It’s sweet, rich, and full of warm pumpkin flavors, making it an ideal topping for toast, pancakes, or even as a filling for pies and pastries.

Ingredients

  • 6 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 29 oz can pumpkin puree
  • 2 Tbsp maple syrup
  • ¼ cup apple juice
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • ⅛ tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

Steps:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan.
  2. Simmer on low heat for 25 min, whisking often.
  3. The color will darken slightly as it simmers. Keep whisking to prevent burning.
  4. Once a smooth, thick texture is achieved with a deeper color, you’re done!
