Quick and Easy Hollandaise Sauce in the Microwave

This microwave Hollandaise sauce is quick, easy, and turns out perfectly every time. Rich, creamy, and full of flavor, it’s ideal for eggs Benedict, salmon, or asparagus. A recipe that saves time without compromising taste. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dinner sides.

Ingredients

  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice, or to taste
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • ¼ cup salted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Gather the ingredients.
  2. Whisk egg yolks in a bowl.
  3. Add lemon juice, salt, and cayenne pepper together in a microwave-safe bowl and beat until smooth.
  4. Slowly stream melted butter into the egg yolk mixture while whisking to incorporate.
  5. Heat sauce in the microwave on medium for 15 to 20 seconds; whisk until well combined.
